Privacy and Personal Data Protection Policy
Last updated: 23 August 2026
In short: we only collect the name, email address and message you write in the contact form, and we use them solely to reply to you. We use no tracking cookies, build no profiles, and share your data with no one.
1. Data controller
The controller of the personal data collected through this site is Andina Minergy SpA, Chilean tax ID (RUT) 76.792.071-7, with registered address at Avenida Costanera 5425, Coquimbo, Coquimbo Region, Chile.
Contact address for personal data matters: contacto@andinaminergy.cl
Phone: +56 9 6210 0789
2. Legal framework
This policy is governed by Law No. 21.719, which regulates the protection and processing of personal data and creates the Chilean Personal Data Protection Agency.
3. What data we collect
What you voluntarily provide through the contact form:
- Name
- Email address
- The content of the message you choose to send us
Alongside the message we also record two technical details: the IP address the form was sent from and the date and time of submission. These are collected for the sole purpose of preventing abuse of the form (automated submissions and impersonation), are stored as part of the email we receive, and are not used to identify you, build profiles or for any other purpose. They are deleted together with the message, within the period stated in section 6.
We collect no sensitive data. We use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and no third-party tools that build visitor profiles. Site fonts are served from our own server, so visiting the site generates no requests to third-party servers.
4. Purpose
The data is used exclusively to respond to your enquiry and maintain the communication arising from it. We do not use it for bulk commercial mailings or for any purpose other than the one for which it was provided.
5. Lawful basis
Processing is based on the free, informed and specific consent you give when submitting the form, in accordance with Law No. 21.719. You may withdraw it at any time by writing to the address above, without retroactive effect on processing already carried out.
6. Retention period
We keep the data for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and, thereafter, for a maximum of 24 months, unless an ongoing commercial relationship or a legal obligation requires longer retention. Once that period ends, the data is deleted.
7. Disclosure
We do not sell, assign or transfer your data to third parties. Only those within Andina Minergy who need it to answer your enquiry may access it.
The site and email are hosted on infrastructure operated by a hosting provider that may run servers outside Chile. That transfer is limited to technical hosting and is carried out with providers offering adequate security levels, in accordance with Title V of Law No. 21.719.
8. Your rights
As the data subject, you have the right to:
- Access — know what data of yours we process and obtain a copy of it.
- Rectification — correct inaccurate, outdated or incomplete data.
- Erasure — request deletion when the data is no longer necessary, when you withdraw consent, or when processing lacks a legal basis.
- Objection — object to a particular processing activity on legitimate grounds.
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used format, or have it transferred to another controller.
- Blocking — temporarily suspend processing while a request is resolved.
To exercise them, write to contacto@andinaminergy.cl stating your name, the right you are invoking and a means of contact. We will respond within the legal deadline. Exercising these rights is free of charge.
If you believe your request was not handled properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Agency.
9. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure. The site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). In the event of a security breach affecting your data, we will notify the Agency and, where the risk involved warrants it, you as well.
10. Minors
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 14.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect regulatory or operational changes. The version in force will always be the one published on this page, together with its update date.
