About us

Strategic and integral management of mining assets

At Andina Minergy we seek to turn mining property into real development and investment opportunities. Our management covers the assessment, valuation, preparation and promotion of mining properties, together with the structuring of sale, acquisition, option, lease and joint-venture processes, incorporation of partners, financing, diversification, rebalancing or planned relinquishment of assets.

We understand that the value of a mining property does not depend on its geological potential alone. For this reason, from the earliest stages we incorporate the analysis of its legal, territorial, environmental, social and regulatory aspects.

Our team is made up of geologists, engineers, finance professionals and mining-law experts, with a proven track record in financing, joint-venture, purchase and sale transactions of mining assets.

Who we work for

Properties with potential, waiting for a strategy

The geology has already done its part. From here on, what unlocks value is management: organising the portfolio, presenting it to the right counterparties and negotiating on its behalf. That is what we take on.

Behind many of these properties there is a family history: whoever registered them, whoever worked them and whoever inherited them. We know that dynamic closely, because at Andina Minergy we also work as a family, and we understand that decisions about a mining estate rest on technical judgement as much as on agreement between people.

FAMILY OFFICES

Family wealth

Mining concessions that form part of a larger estate, without an in-house mining team to manage them. We organize the portfolio, appraise it, and turn a passive holding into a real line of value within the family's wealth.

ENTREPRENEURS & INVESTORS

Properties acquired as an investment

You bought mining properties betting on their potential, and now need a strategy to make them profitable: develop them, partner them with an operator, or sell them at the right point in the cycle.

MINERS & SMALL-SCALE MINING

You know the mountain

No one knows your property and its potential better than you. We contribute what's missing: structure, organized technical information, a network of investors and operators, and professional negotiation to partner up or sell at a fair price. Also see our program of 30 free monthly XRF assays.

ESTATES & INHERITANCES

Inherited projects

When the owner passes away, mining properties often drift: license fees about to lapse, scattered information, and heirs with no mining experience. We guide the family through settling the estate, protecting the validity of the concessions, and deciding the best path on solid grounds: hold, develop or sell.

Portfolio management · the core of what we do

We manage your portfolio and define the right path for every asset

We take on the full management of mining properties and projects held by family offices, entrepreneurs, miners and estates. Each asset is assigned the path that best fits its stage, its potential and its owner's objectives.

A mining portfolio is a living asset. Its value is built through decisions taken over time: when to deepen the technical information, when to bring in a partner, when to go to market and when to let an asset mature. Managing it with method is what turns a set of concessions into a portfolio that works for its owner.

Andina Minergy takes on that management under mandate from the title holder. We organise the portfolio, establish precisely what each property holds and assign each one the path that maximises its value: developing technical studies, partnering with an operator, leasing the concession, structuring a purchase option, selling at the right point in the cycle, or keeping the asset protected and in good standing while its opportunity matures.

The owner always decides. We provide the technical judgement, the network of counterparties and the execution: we prepare the asset, lead the negotiation and see the process through to closing, with regular reporting throughout the mandate.

The management cycle

Due diligence

Register of concessions, licence fee status, surveys, overlaps, easements and the judicial or probate situation of each property.

Valuation

Technical and market value of each asset, with a field campaign using our own equipment where fresh information is worth gathering.

Portfolio plan

Classification of each property as strategic, developable or available, and assignment of the value creation path that fits.

Execution

Delivery of the agreed studies, search for a counterparty, negotiation and legal structuring of the transaction through to closing.

Control and reporting

Regular reports, tracking of the obligations calendar and adjustment of the plan to market, regulation and the holder's objectives.

Value creation paths

Six routes to increase the value of an asset

The right decision depends on the stage of the project, the capital the owner is willing to commit and the point in the price cycle. These are the paths we structure and manage.

INFORMATION

Technical studies

Technical information is what sustains the price of an asset. We organise the existing record and design the campaign that fits: mapping and sampling, geochemistry, geophysics, drilling, NI 43-101 reports or prefeasibility studies. Every completed stage gives the counterparty certainty and feeds directly into the value.

Suits you whenThe property has recognised potential and the next step is to back it with systematic, verifiable information.
PARTNERS

Strategic partnership and joint venture

We bring in an operator or a financial partner who contributes the capital and technical capacity to develop the project in exchange for a stake. The owner retains part of the asset, shares in the outcome and shares with the partner the effort of exploration and construction.

Suits you whenThe project calls for an investment worth sharing with a partner of proven technical and financial capacity.
OPTION

Purchase option

The interested party pays for the right to buy within a defined period, through staged payments in cash, in shares or in exploration expenditure commitments. The owner receives cash flow while the third party explores and keeps the asset in full should the option lapse.

Suits you whenThere is third-party interest and it pays to give exploration time before setting a sale price.
INCOME

Lease and mining contract

A third party works the concession and pays a fixed rent, a royalty on production or a combination of both. Title remains with the owner and the asset returns to their control at the end of the contract, together with whatever infrastructure and knowledge the operation has left behind.

Suits you whenThere is workable mineral and an operator with real production capacity, and the holder prefers steady income while retaining ownership.
TRANSACTION

Structured sale

Technical and commercial preparation of the asset, identification of qualified buyers, negotiation and closing. The outcome depends as much on the quality of the information as on the point in the cycle, and is often structured by combining a fixed price with a variable component tied to future production.

Suits you whenThe market cycle favours realising the value, or the owner decides to concentrate the portfolio on other assets.
PROTECTION

Maintenance, tenure and orderly exit

Monitoring of concession validity, payment and optimisation of licence fees, surveys and title regularisation. When the holder decides to release a property, we plan an orderly relinquishment that safeguards the standing of the concessions remaining in the portfolio.

Suits you whenThe owner wants to optimise the annual holding cost and concentrate resources on the concessions with the greatest potential.
Comparison of value creation paths
Path Title Income for the owner Who bears the risk Typical horizon
Technical studies Retained Investment that increases the value of the asset The owner funds it 6 to 24 months
Strategic partnership Shared Share in the project's outcome Shared with the partner 3 to 10 years
Purchase option Retained until exercise Staged payments over the option period The exploring third party 2 to 5 years
Lease or mining contract Retained Fixed rent or periodic royalty The operator 1 to 10 years
Structured sale Transferred Price at closing, with an optional variable component Transferred to the buyer 3 to 18 months
Maintenance and exit Retained or relinquished Reduces the annual cost of the portfolio Low Ongoing

// Horizons are indicative and depend on the stage of the project, the counterparty and market conditions. A single portfolio usually combines several paths in parallel.

Territory and sustainability

Value goes beyond geology

The value of a mining property does not depend on its geological potential alone. That is why, from the earliest stages, we incorporate the analysis of the legal, territorial, environmental, social and regulatory aspects of each asset.

We seek to anticipate risks, prevent conflicts and create the conditions to develop responsible, sustainable and viable projects, maintaining a transparent relationship with communities, authorities, surface owners and every stakeholder linked to the territory.

Our goal is to turn inactive or undervalued properties into attractive, responsible, bankable projects with real development prospects, maximizing their technical, economic, social and strategic value.

  • Identification of potential indigenous consultation processes
  • Environmental impact assessment
  • Water availability and land access

30 free assays a month for small-scale miners

30XRF assays · every month · free of charge

We know from our own experience how hard it can be, at certain times, to sustain exploration and open new extraction points. Many sectors hold real potential for new workings, but resources are finite, sometimes scarce, and paying for assays is not always possible.

To support that critical stage and encourage the search for new extraction points, we make available to small-scale miners 30 free XRF elemental analyses of hand samples every month, with a maximum of 5 per concession, so that each month the programme reaches at least six different workings. When results warrant it, we also perform mechanical sample preparation for pulp analysis.

Book your slot

Write to us with the name and registry number of the concession you work, whether or not you are the title holder, and how many samples you want analysed, up to 5 a month.

XRF analysis

Elemental analysis of your hand sample: up to 40 elements identified per scan.

Pulp preparation

If the result is of interest, we mechanically prepare the sample for pulp analysis.

Results and guidance

We deliver the results with a technical read to guide your next steps.

Program terms

30 monthly slots on a first-come, first-served basis, with a maximum of 5 analyses per concession per month · every sample is logged with the registry number of the concession it came from, whether your own or worked with the title holder's authorisation, and the coordinates of the sampling point · when requests exceed the month's slots, priority goes to those who have not taken part in the last three months · results are indicative and do not constitute laboratory certification · your sample results belong to you and are handled with strict confidentiality · voluntary program, free of charge and with no commercial commitment.

Field capabilities · high-mountain exploration

We explore where the road ends

We run complete campaigns in the high Andes, with camp logistics and pack animals specifically suited to mountain terrain, backed by more than 20 years of experience. We sample and analyse in situ, right in the work area, to make the most of the available time, reduce costs and get better value from every exploration investment. The process is completed with desk work that turns the data gathered into technical information that is organised, clear and ready to use.

ACCESS

High-mountain logistics and mobilisation

Many properties with real potential sit where no vehicle can reach. We get there with mules and muleteers with more than 20 years of experience in high-Andes mineral exploration, carrying equipment, water, food and samples along ravines and ridges for days at a time. It is the proven way to work the high Andes and what lets us examine in detail properties that lie far from any road.

SELF-SUFFICIENCY

High-altitude base camp

We set up our own camp next to the work area, with power, communications and catering logistics for the whole team. The campaign gains effective field hours every day, covers more ground per shift, and runs to safety and acclimatisation standards suited to altitude.

FIELDWORK

Mapping, sampling and XRF analysis

Geological mapping, alteration logging and systematic sampling with every station georeferenced. Portable XRF delivers up to 40 elements in a 30-to-60-second scan of the hand sample, with methods for common mining elements (Cu, Fe, Ag, Zn), light elements (Al, Si, S) and rare earths (Y, Sc, La, Ce). The same scan identifies pathfinder elements, the geochemical indicators (As, Sb, Bi, Mo, Te) that vector the search towards the mineralised body. Our mobile laboratory handles the mechanical preparation of the samples sent for pulp assay.

DESK WORK

Logging, interpretation and GIS

Every campaign ends at the desk: systematic logging and description of the samples, integration of the asset's historical record, data analysis and geographic information systems (GIS). The output is a geological model and an organised information set that supports the valuation of the property and stands up to third-party technical review.
